Five reasons pot should become legal–and five reasons why it probably won’t
Via Alternet’s very fascinating Drug Reporter section (beware: it’s a bit like Alice’s rabbithole…spend too much time reading here and you may WILF yourself into an entirely new galaxy), an article that may inspire some interesting arguments on the subject of marijuana law reform, if you care about that kind of stuff at all.
Granted, we have much bigger fish to fry as we ramp up to the next US Presidential elections, but the Pot Parade was just this past weekend, and reform of MJ laws just make sense to me. Read the article for five really good points on WHY the pot should be legal, and five more reasons why it probably won’t be (at least in our lifetime).
I enjoyed the article. It was short and very to-the-point which made it readable for pot smokers. Here in California it may technically be illegal but you would have to have A LOT on you to get anything more than a cheep ticket.
